Benjie’s website was challenging to say the least. However, it’s only fitting since his website is being visited by thousands and thousands of bike enthusiasts everyday. The design looks macho, and it feels good that I’m starting to master masculine designs. The content is now more organized and easy to update. Whew! We made it, Benjie! Now I want my own vintage cafe racer (for me to stare at, of course)!

I received a Tokidoki makeup palette from a dear friend today and while it was perfectly cute, I had a better idea for it. The eyeshadow pans fit perfectly inside the pencil case I got from Muji. I cut the magnets to design the case and at the same time hold the pans in place. Then I decorated the black magnet exposed with decorative tapes. Et voila, a portable palette!

Designing Ian’s website was a breeze. In fact, we had two looks for the website. The lighter one won, but the dark, playful design will become our DVD cover. The website’s layout is also replicated for other materials such as Business Cards and Letterhead as well. This project was very exciting from start to finish.

Just a series of pictures that capture our silliness during our photo shoot. Confetti, flowers, music- they were all we needed to have a grand time. And of course, the pizza and ice cream did wonders as well. Haha. Kids know the purest sense of fun.

It was so much fun making paper flowers for our props for a much-awaited photo shoot. They were the easiest to do, and the petals turned softer as evening rain affected the texture somehow. My niece said we could do crafting forever and ever, and I complete agree. I wonder what our next project it. I’m already brewing some ideas.

This is one of the many, many thrones inside the Forbidden City. I was too tired (bad shoes) to check out all of them. It’s fascinating though. Was it stressful to be royalty? Was it tiring to always be in full regalia?

This was taken on my last day in Beijing. I should have visited the less crowded part. Anyway, I got lucky with this one shot. All of the remaining ones were littered with A LOT of people. I wish after thousands of years we would have created some spectacular things for the next generations to marvel about.

One month later, I never thought I’d find myself touring Beijing and then going to Sanya to cover an Indian wedding. Oh life, you are the master of surprises!

It was a beautiful windy afternoon. An unused mirror made things interesting. It transported the plants, the sky, the iron gates and yours truly.
